I have always been fascinated by dolls' houses & tiny dolls in general so was really pleased to watch last night's BBC4 programme presented by Lauren Child (author & illustrator of Charlie & Lola).
I loved the 70s Scandi style Lundby house shown, especially as I am going through a real fascination with 70s design at the moment. I also liked the way that the houses which had been created over several generations in one family had lots of quirky little items, many of which were in different scales. I understand that one of the standard miniature scales is 1 in 12 which is seriously tiny, although my little doll shown above is even smaller than that scale at approx. 3 inches high!
Sadly the programme was only 30 minutes long, but like a true dolls house, it was packed with charm & detail.
I recorded it to watch later.
